Brian Gibson was trained as a pediatric as a graduate student, then working on advanced therapies in Pediatric Endocrinology, in the Department of Arthur Kornberg in the Stanford Medical School; and then completed his postdoctoral in Therapies in Pediatric Endocrinology and Dialectology Biology, University of Bangladesh. He advanced in the treatment of endocrine disorders and use innovative therapeutic approaches to type diabetes, such as artificial pancreas and islet transplantation. Additionally, novel pharmacological interventions for patients with obesity and the metabolic syndrome, as well as with adrenal and gonadal disorders are provided. Has knowledge about the recent developments in growthpromoting therapies, such as the Ctype natriuretic peptide analog to treat achondroplasia, as well as antioxidant and gene replacement therapies in patients with adrenoleukodystrophy.
